With show season in full swing, I’ve been working hard to keep myself organized. Attending a horse show away from home requires plenty of planning — especially for the unexpected. One thing I always make sure to have is a stall card with my horse’s information and contact numbers in case of an emergency. So to help out adult amateurs like myself, I’ve created a free printable stall card you can download and customize for you and your horse!
This free printable stall card allows you type in your horse’s information directly into the PDF, print it and tack it right onto your stall. It’s perfect for horse shows, so that in an emergency anyone knows your horse’s basic information and can get in touch with you or people who can make decisions for your horse. I especially like this format because it includes areas for feed (so if you divvy up chores amongst riders to save costs on day fees, there’s no guesswork involved), as well as special instructions. Stall cards can also be great at home, so that emergency contact information is handy for staff or other boarders in an emergency.
To keep your stall card clean and dry no matter where you are, I suggest laminating it, putting it in a page protector or making a stall card holder. No more ripping, torn edges or blurred phone numbers because your pony dribbled water down the front of his stall.
